Naas 14.45 De Latour (ew) seemed to have a gentle introduction over this course on debut, running on nicely at the finish. The extra fur should suit. Another one that ran well on debut and looks closely linked to the selection on form is Jasikan, and Chamrousse is yet another with similar credentials. I'd be surprised if at least one of these didn't reach a place but, the form I'm in at present maybe a newcomer will take the race
Hello, all. Chicken and sweetcorn pasta salad. Really nice, troops. 9/10. But has, I say has, the Stick boy seen Squire’s new rating??? Must be, as one of those Chav’s would say, ‘well chuffed’. The Squire has been put back down to 58 (the same mark he ran off last time) following a ‘collateral’ adjustment.
afternoon, fellas! sedgefield,2 00: basically, theres nothing wrong with compatriot here, especially,as his form last time out is working out well, but at the relevant odds,i d rather back one a bit higher.its SMART RULER,who is not getting any younger, but hes holding his form quite well, despite not having won for a long time.has also dropped to a very tempting mark, and the booking of brian hughes catches the eye..so,more than enough reasons to support him today.. southwell,2 20: quite an open heat.the interesting one here for me is TWO HOOTS.still a maiden, which is a slight worry, but he has shown bits of form recently, that would make him competitive in this low event.also interesting, that his usual rider, nick scholfield keeps the ride, despite being with a new trainer, which could be a tip in itself..
Silver River running well at home I'm told so had a small ew in 7.15 at Kempers at 10/1.Also like this footy wager this evening-Villa/Brentford/Lyon and Madrid all to win 8/1.
sedgefield.2 30: thosedaysaregone ran as well as could be expected against a mullins hot-pot,and if handling the course alright, has a big chance to go one better.SONIC,though, looks a tad more solid on form, and although i am always a bit cautious on penalised horses,he might well up to defying it.
well,a winner again, what a relief.. southwell,2 55: pretty open race, with no less than three last time out winners, but i turn my attention to another horse,DEFINITLY GREY.at first sight,he has a lot to prove on recent form, but it may pay to take a closer look, because 1)hes back on his last winning mark and 2)the longsdon team is in much better form in recent weeks,so a better showing wouldnt surprise at all.
sedgefield,3 35: a tight.little contest, and all five have claims on their recent efforts, but a narrow vote goes to MIXBOY,who is a very useful handicap chaser, but hes much better treated over hurdles, and his last run, albeit over fences,at cartmel wasnt devoid of promise, and the winner has scored again on the level since,so hes got as good a chance as any here..
well judged ride, and my 2 winner today.! sedgefield,4 10: i managed to take two out of this race,BRAVE SPARTACUS and ever so much.well, what can you say about the latter?he downs tools more often than not,but has the ability to win such a race.but the former, even if not so good,so far this season, has now dropped 6 lbr below his last winning mark, and has in-form brian hughes on board today, also the case, when last successful.good chance..
Well De Latour ended up fav. For some reason, led, ran prominently all the way and weakened final furlong - not quite as I imagined. Chamrousse btn a nk at 10/1. Jasikan NR. Would have been a small loss there
Done a similar bet on the footie but put in Barnsley instead of lyon. Also have a mugs 14 fold going …...
A race horse which escaped its handler burst into a bar in Chantilly, France, scattering patrons. Nobody was injured in the incident. Guess she just needed a beer, but worth a bet next time out?
