All his bizarre tactics and personality traits worked 10 years ago but everyone is bored of now and they're no longer effective. Never liked him personally but I did respect him. Not even that now - just annoying.
Should be busting a nut to get through though...I don't agree that the league cup is a meh trophy. Always find it strange and hypocrirical how the big teams still win it and take it damn serious if they get to the latter stages.
I agree mate we were in the final just a couple of years ago, Hughes never seems to take the cups that seriously though and we've got an abysmal record up there.
