Well said Beddytare - Now let's hope this statement ends anymore comments about players being out of an evening etc
Football is only a game. This is someone who is seriously ill. NOTHING else matters but Danny getting better.
Ipswich fan in peace, used to live just up the road by the common and shocked by this news. Hope Dan makes a speedy and full recovery.
Gobsmacked at the news and all the best to Sebo. Get well soon chappy. Someone has their rose tinted glasses on here me thinks. Being local (and getting free tickets) I was at the Lincoln City v Newcastle Game. Shearer's debut after the 15m transfer. I was in the exec seats and therefore the exec bar after and I can confirm Shearer is far from boring (apart from when he is talking to you.) He was going rounds with David Batty. Nearly knocked my pint out of my hand when I was at the bar. And Ginola was near the door smoking his umpteenth ciggie making up for the 90mins+ without (inside as was still allowed to smoke in bars then.) So even these pros had a drink or 2 (or more ) Everyone deserves to have a normal life without people saying they should be chained to training ground and not allowed to leave the sofa in case they twist an ankle etc. People should concentrate on the issue which is someone being beaten to a pulp. Not whether they were in the right or wrong. Even if something went on before it doesn't warrant this kind of brutality. And everybody most defnitely deserves to have a life and not be a circus act caged when not performing!!! Get well soon Sebo and lets all concentrate on the REAL issue.
Jordan Sibley An official statement on Dan Seaborne will be on the official website within the next few mins. Docs say he is stable & improving
Am i going mad or does it not say anywhere the club wishes him all the best for a speedy recovery or anything like tht ?
Its great news that hes on the road to recovery but all the same even Exeter FC wish him all the best i think its disgusting that SFC cant even do that!
I know, all I can think is that they have hastily put this page on the website which they will add to later on. Some sort of general good wishes would have been nice though I agree.
The Echo obviously rang up Exeter for a quote, so of course they'll send good wishes. The Echo's earlier report had the line that Saints were looking for another Centre half for their "assault" on the top flight. Total and utter gutter reporting from this rag (thankfully that line has now been removed). In light of it, I would hope that SFC would tell the Echo to **** off when they ask for a response................
