I met Sir Bobby Robson outside St James Park and he signed the most perfect autograph i have ever see, weirdly saw Nigel Martyn at Eden Camp!
The idea of the thread was not only who have you met but who is extra special, that aura. You could meet a British prime minister but if its John Major it would be soooo dull but if it was Winston Churchill it would be awe inspiring. I shook hands with Lennox Lewis once he came into Bridges pub on a Sunday lunch time after fighting at City Hall the night before. Fukin huge and hands like shovels!!
I also met Christian karembeau (sp?) and his missus at a pub in darlington. she is/was a supermodel. Shared a table with them but they didn't say much
I met Graham Dott at the UK snooker Champs whilst he was World Champ, they did a live interview and we got asked to be stood next to him whilst Willie Thorne asked him some questions. Shook his hand after, seemed like a nice fella.
I have also met the majority of the drivers in the British Touring Car Championship and am friends with 2 of them
I met Matt Neal, Jason Plato, Colin Turkington, Rob Collard, and Vicky Butler Henderson on the same weekend at Donington BTCC!

Quite short and disappointingly ordinary looking and her sister (who ran up ready to kill me because she thought I was accosting Andrea) looked a bit rough. I was well pi**ed and neither of us had a pen for her to give me an autograph, so she eventually got bored and walked off.
