They use it to protect or replace their original account. Basically they use it for a laugh or to cause trouble, that trouble is then deflected from their real account. So no attachment to get them banned, only the sock is at risk unless i can make a link.
PowerSpurs just murders them with patience and good manners though. **** knows how he does it. Saxton and co. rip into him in the usual manner, and he just calmly points out how irrational they are being.
Anyway!! I was in Edinburgh at Specsavers!! Manuel who tested my eyes recommended going to Santander. Also I lady I spoke to in Bilvao recommended Vitoria !!! I will take their advice.. Lovely food and Rioja apparently .
This board is nothing compared to what i deal with, people don't see half of it. I've had people threatening to be sued...for real. I've had to do banning for other club boards, and prevent the users from coming back in. I'm constantly daily kicking Spammers out the system. Constantly fixing stuff for people. All this while the likes of Stan think it;s funny to give me the run around and wonders why i go loopy at him.
My mum will never forgive the Germans; lived through the Blitz, and evacuation, as a child. She's a tolerant person who likes other cultures, and got to do some travelling late in life; she never went to Germany though She must have unconsciously passed some of that on to me, because I was surprised how much I like Freiburg when I went. And the locals were totally cool.
I still remember when one of your mods went rogue, started destroying the place. We couldn't repair some of the damage. We had to lock everyone down until we tracked back to who it was.
PowerSpurs is a good poster with balanced views. There are really only 3 posters who drag the Politics board down to infant level and it isn't Pete, Dunc or any other "righty", they only respond in kind. Some may be classed as racist but, at least they are honest and consistent and have never felt the need to resort to personal/family attacks.
I try to get on with everyone . I went to holland on a youth exchange in the early 80s . I like the Dutch outlook on life , my brother in law is Dutch . The only group of foreign people I have ever met and actually dislike is the French Canadians .
Never forget Hash either, he found a loophole in the system and started deleting any accounts he didn't like...took me ages to work out who or how they were doing it I was a bit naive in them days, know my way around the systems now.
Yes it's a nice country. Been to Stuttgart,Cologne,Dusseldorf,Berlin Kaiserlautern etc and always got on with the locals.
I have to be honest, I always act the proper **** on that thread I only really click on there to let my own dark side out, and get involved in the brutal slanging matches. There was a time when the occasional rational debate broke out, but now it's just somewhere to trade insults for the hell of it.
Yeah. Got us closed down by all the networks and google removed us. We had to go in and clean this place up, it's the only way they would reactivate us. We need advertising revenue to pay for the place...no google = no adverts = no site.
That board has never recovered, it was never busy but had some good posters (FJ was one of them) and I used to enjoy chatting on there.
And takes so much away from the rest off the board. As I've stated many a times, I'd lose that thread completely if it was up to me.. But brb ain't having it.
