Ah i see what he was on about now, i was trying to make sense of what he was saying, now i get it, different terminology/reasons.
Fair enough. When the Zeebrugge went down, it more or less killed the booze cruises as they were back then.
Yes I didnt know that was the reason. It was a he'll of a lot cheaper years ago. We where getting royally ripped off over here compared to Europe!! an EU ruling changed things in the 90s. I think it also basically ended price fixing in the uk
So I read the first page and by post 4 it went wayward.. So what happened between page 2 and this one?
The thing is if everybody was in one room discussing these issues face to face you wouldn't get evenb15% of the Vitriol
To answer the original question. When I was away I had a great life. But the world economy ****ed all that up. So I came back with not a penny. Borrowed money for the flight. Now within in 18 months. I have a full time permanent job, with decent money for up here. I have my car, nowt flash but it's mine. Last week I've moved into a new flat and now trying to do it up. Its not all bad here, if you are prepared to work for it.
It appears it was all a massive misunderstanding! You know what it's like when you send a text, one vowel or consonant out of place and the person you sent it to goes mad. It appears Duncs meant to say he would miss Pakastani Grapes, although personally i can't remember seeing them on sale in Waitrose, but maybe he shops in Sainsburys. As for squads he meant as in pickers, Pakastani Grape Pickers.... See a few letters out of place and the whole world goes Pol Pot.
Nice !! If I lived on my own I would move myself .. I dont dislike it here I am just bored of the same old same old!@
