Playing a back 5 away to West Ham who hasn’t won at home all season.. that’s a very very strange tactic
How was that a penalty for Everton? Guy just gave him lil nudge with his shoulder as he ball was in keepers hands ffs. Was even softer than the won DCL won at Anfield last year
I agree (although I would class it as a back 3), but it doesn't explain why attackers and midfielders suddenly forget how to run and pass. Where the **** was Lingard, was he left out so he didn't get contaminated by the rest ?
I only saw the highlights but every clip they showed it was a back 5, all along 1 like with Fellini and magic in front. Problem is is you play Matic and Fellaini who aren’t creative. Mctomminay who also isn’t creative but also was playing at CB sort of. Only creative I’ve played in that team was pogba who isn’t creative for United for what ever reason. You’re relying on your wide players in that case young and shaw but then you’re only going to create from crosses. Seems like you suffered in middle in ways we did last year with too many solid midfielders but not enough that can run with the ball. Keita has added that for us and pogba should be doing that for you but then he needs people to play off like lingaard or rashford from a wide area who have pace to make runs
Pretty spot on there mate Lingard was missing from the squad but I have no idea why, Rashford should always start at wide left, Fred should be getting more game time. If you are playing McTominay you don't need Fellaini (it's one or the other dependant on opposition or stage of game)
Back six at times. And included a young lad that's not played not played much first team football but also not played CB before
Mourinho seems to be becoming more unpredictable and not in a good way, like springing a genius surprise. His team selections are odd and lacking sense. Its like he's not sure how to make things better so is just trying random combinations in the hope something sticks. Problem he's got is that there is certain level of criticism a dressing room will take, even those not in the firing line will start to feel aggrieved that their mate is being targeted. What happens then is a manager loses the dressing room and players stop trying as hard, its not a glowing side of player power but it happens. imo Jose is clinging on by his finger nails and part of that is because the club officials might be nervous about sacking him and they're unsure who would take the job in poor form and league position.
I think he lost the dressing room a few weeks back and he's "clinging on by his finger nails" for his £45m payoff!
Like I said a few weeks ago he was/is a dead man walking. The only decisions to be made are the exact timing of the announcement and the financing settlement. And going with the mancs supporters I know he won’t exactly be missed . They have accepted that he needs to be removed and are even surprised that he is still around.
If an attacker puts his hands on a defender at a set play a FK is given. Shame the FA has taken so long to apply the rule both ways. Well done FA
they confused everyone at world cup by deciding all defenders holding from set plays was a pen and by default promoted England from group failures to semi finalists. if the same rules were applied in the prem then the comp.would be decided on corners alone.
eeeee... whats this cardiff v burnely some ****s stealing our latest chant .. **** off. allez le rouge.... **** me.
this really is sky saying... Ryder cup.is on. nobody is watching.. let's put on the ****test game possible to get these teams game allocation out of the way.
