So is this result all down to Vettels mistake allowing Hamilton to close back in? Mercedes is the faster car but as we can see it's hard to push through that 1-2s barrier. Bit once you're in close you can pick them off.
they lasted early on for a few and the fuel load is now low. imo he'd have gotten 16-20 laps of good driving out of them. he's assured now of 6th... he could have got 3rd I'd he risked.it and it went well
not really. I think Merc.got caught in strategy with max and Ferrari did well.on pit stop with the the faker as well. but hamilton has been quicker all weekend. it would have been bottas 1 vettel 2 and hamilton having 3 or 4 goes at passing in faster car.
Would make sense to let Bottas pass. Keep him fully on side for future help. Those loss of points could easily be made back by another helping move.
