All true. It’s a horrible reality, though, when you find that your dream looks like Big Sam Allardyce, isn’t it?
I'd take Big Sam too,a no nonsense manager who motivates teams and gets results.People will say under Sam "style of football etc etc" but one things for sure, he would sort out the defence. these last few years we've dished up some utter s***e. We used to be known as a team that plays football on the ground and having flair players, that was our philosophy and identity, them days have truly gone.
So l wake up at 3:33am in the morning to another lousy loss. Friggin great start to another day. Really thought we were coming good or a while. It’s not the QPR way.
At the time of him going on loan I thought it was a good idea as the midfield was basically a shoo in....Scowan mass Freeman with Eze in the 10 role so I couldn't see manning getting much game time. However the way things have gone since then and the way the players are being treated and lack confidence then the sending of manning on loan appears to be an error as he'd likely be playing regularly for us now....
How much have we shelled out on managerial compensation since Tony joined Sounds like manning is playing well Be a shame to ruin that by bringing him back
SM is a decent manager but if he does not have enough quality players in the squad which is plain to see then he will struggle to get the team playing good football and i dont care who the manager is as they would struggle too. What is SM suppose to do because i bet he is more frustrated than anyone and can't wait for January to come to replace players who are obviously not the type or the standard players he wants.......Fat Sam was dier at Everton and other sides he has managed so why anyone in their right mind would want that overrated manager is beyond me....You have a very experienced manager now but you need a few more better players.....You wont go down and will finish with us mid to top half of the table.... It was great to see how Rangel showed his professionalism and gave 100% for QPR when everyone knows his love for the Swans....A top man....
Nail on head. After 46 years my response to this result was ‘meh’. Much more interested in the golf this weekend.
In all fairness Tramore it wasn't you who was singled out. As I said, sadly some posters cannot differentiate between threads. There was no need to start goading me with sly digs. I may be wrong for reacting but it's sad how some posters go out of their way to wind up. I was enjoying this thread until post 128 but I guess it must be my fault?
We can’t go backwards so no point even suggesting IH if I was him I would be laughing a bit however Our club is run by complete fools at the moment SM is unemployable imo as a manager ... with his so called pedigree I can’t see any improvement even with the basics To claim it wasn’t a 3-0 game is plain stupid imo To insult our fans by saying they are not clinical is out of order you can see that the players are playing under orders
I like Manning a lot but thought it not a bad idea for his development to get real game time elsewhere. That said he has played a fair bit for us so it's not like he's inexperienced. Now he's flourishing with Rotheram he probably won't want to come back.
The board have done the same thing they've done for years. They always get stars in their eyes and think they can finally start that revolution with a new manager. They DO NOT understand gradual progress and never will, otherwise they would have learned it by now.
