Totally inept today.If other teams adapt to the players available ( Mitrovic for Fulham For example ) why is it that Rafa never adapts his team. It is park the bus EVERY game, home or away. 1 shot on target entire game today and only 41% possession. Even when we have the ball we can't pass it to another B&W player and we have turned in to a hoof ball team. We play Man U next week and even they are in the doldrums but I bet they tank us leaving us in a massive relegation fight. Time to try something different Rafa.
Never a penalty. Ours in the second half should have been a penalty. Rafa’s substitutions baffling. Most of the team tried but aren’t good enough. A mention for Kenedy, Diame and Lascelles as being the best of a poor bunch. Joselu tried but is useless at this level. Perez didn’t try and is useless at this level. My mother in law has more upper body strength than Perez and would have had more impact on the match...change that she did have more impact on the match as she at least asked me how we got on thereby showing some interest in the game than Perez did.
Weirdly I have stopped giving a toss. It seems easier to cope if I adopt that mindset. God I hate Ashley so much, its hard to put it into words...
Personally if the ref gives a pen for that, and to be honest I think they should as handball is way too subjective and wishywashy as a rule, then it should be applied like that for the rest of the season. Lots more pens to be given, which would be good for the game. What kind of a wuss has to protect their face anyway
That really does make you worry. If we finish 4th bottom it will be another miracle by Rafa. Some 'easier' games coming after Man Utd, though.
