After an improving run, a (mainly) good and positive game against Millwall - how do you turn it around to be so poor? Another season of poor results and football ahead is a miserable prospect. Fans are drifting away; lifelong fans are losing interest. Can it really get any more depressing!!
If the club approaches him he should tell them to f**k off....... If this keeps up mcclaren won't see beyond the Brentford game in a few weeks...
Mclaren is seen by many top pros, as a top coach. He ain't the kind of manager to kick some arse and throw some f**** into whoever needs it,never was never will be. Can't see him lasting much longer.
The thing is, if he had stuck with Eze in the 10 role and mainly kept things the same, I would be looking more at the players than him. However, he changed from a winning set up and I suspect that the players know he's useless too and have started to lose patience with him.
Absolute debacle We were so slow I thought maybe this was actually a training game Swansea u10s would've stopped us scoring today Why does Lynch feel the need to go chargi g out of defence when all he does is boot it to the opposition or get tackled? We were absolutely shocking for all bar the first 10 mins and it could be a further shambles on Tuesday night
I wonder if he is still genuinely seen that way within the game now. People have been saying what a great coach he is for years now but in recent times he's been ****e.
Its so constantly depressing....... When will we see some light at the end of the tunnel? Effing tiresome persistent shambles
If the players are not playing for Mclaren then it is time for him to go. I remember when Alan Mullery was in charge - he only last 6 months but at least he had the Newcastle 5 5 draw (one of the greatest come backs at Loftus Rd) on his CV. Hughes had more time than Mclaren and he completely screwed the club over. I have been out all day and just got back home. With two poor sides I was honestly expecting a boring draw - both sides have trouble scoring - however the Rangers way is to collapse when they shouldn't. Mourinho is having problems at Manure...maybe we could swop? At least we know Mourinho can play goal keeper From what other have said maybe time has come for a change but as has already been said, who would come and take over. To go back to Ollie in my opinion, would be a step backwards.....maybe someone like Moyes who would at least sort the defence and make the team difficult to beat might be an option but with no transfer window who would want to join?
After the Millwall game I thought we would push on and then he seemed to change things for Norwich and it's just got worse. 9 changes at Blackpool was stupid at best. If we had won there the players would have come into this game with confidence. Again I hear Eze is spending too much time defending? He takes forwards off when losing 3-0? if I don't see a decent performance at Reading I will be calling for his Hayling Island head.
He's probably a good coach but as a manager apart from a winning stint in Holland has been a disaster at all the club's he's managed.....even in the play off final he was clueless as after 80 minutes you could tell that derby had run out of ideas and he left his best attacker on the bench until after obz scored.....his appointment here is nothing more than a fernandes vanity posting...
It's not too often everyone seems to agree on here but regarding SM, we all seem to see he's dog ****e
Lost the dressing room clearly. Were any of the owners there? If they were even if it was that genius Fernandes they will move very quickly. I dread to think what the terms of the contract are. As I recall, we were literally begging him to come while he dithered for ages - presumably haggling to screw the club over for every penny he could lay his hands on before he could utter the words, 'This is my dream job'. Perhaps his excuse will be that he was lied to about the finances as the settlement was announced a few weeks later. If that were true, he is even more stupid and clueless than we believe As said already that's the 10 games he wanted to be judged on. Bet there were a few Welsh voices singing 'Sacked in the morning' after the collapse which appears to have been sparked by clueless tactics and clueless substitutions. How can anyone in their right mind still believe that we have made progress since the imbecilic decision to sack Holloway. He has by and large the same players and whereas they clearly were happy to put it all on the line for Olly, they clearly do not want to for McLaren Who next?
We 'sacrificed' our League Cup run to protect this bunch of tossers. Blackpool would have beaten whatever team we put out if it was managed by that c*nt... Prepare for our usual knee-jerk managerial sacking in the next few weeks...
I'm not. However it's not that long ago and we all remember who said what about his appointment and the huge improvements we would see under him. Just saw a bit of dark humour in it. The 10 game mark was for McLaren to prove himself, not for you to call for his sacking.
