Will take the point. Brum 20 shots should have won it. Some positives.

    What a game!

    So many positives from today.

Anybody who says Hurst has lost the dressing room is talking out of their arse. They have given blood, sweat and tears today.

Well done lads. Let’s see if we can grab another point at least Tuesday.

Well that is a massive kick in the teeth.

Was out first half, delighted to see 2-0 up half time.

Sounds like we got absolutely battered second half. Real shame that.

Will be good to see Donacien back in the team again on Tuesday. Still think we should be trying 2 up top. Jackson has good movement but there's nobody close to him when he gets the ball. 4-1-3-2 is close to what we already do but we sacrifice a DM in favour of a striker

Brum just kept coming second half. There are no weak teams in this division. Perhaps the 2-0 flattered us a bit at half time.

Our inability to hold on to a lead is worrying. I listened to commentary and the amount of shots Birmingham had was also a concern. First impressions, we were lucky to come away with anything. Good to see us score a couple though and some positives to take out of the first half performance. Second half ... not so much.

Well us PNE Hull I would class as poor sides in this league. Of course there are poor sides in this league, as there are in every single division in football.

    Shame though. Massive shame.

I think it was caused by nothing we don't already know about - giving the ball away too easily and a dodgy moment from Gerks. We need more composure on the ball. What we did see today were flashes of real quality and confidence growing.

6 points from 1st to 15th. There has never been a season like this before.

I didn’t see confidence growing in that second half. We looked a team on the ropes, soaking up shots and fortunate to come away with anything. I agree regarding Gerken, I think it’s time for Bart to come back in now, we may have won that match with him in goal. The formation looks fine though, based on the first half. Hopefully it’s just a case of bringing in Bart and Donacien.

Agreed with this. No stand out teams in this division and mid-table is tightly bunched up. As Westy says though, with a couple more poor results, Preston, Millwall, and ourselves could drift away. Currently two points away from safety, after matches against Middlesbrough and Swansea will we still be that close?

It would have been a different second half had we not conceded so early and the second goal really hurt us and gave them encouragement, but before that Nsiala did a little Thijssen turn and some great step overs from Edwards.

This is the danger and it will soon be time for the owner to decide if he is sticking with Hurst for the long term or going to take decisive action to try to keep us in the division.

Weirdly, as bad as we have been ......... we're not exactly in the mire.

Some poor poor sides this season, we're certainly one of the bottom 8 I would say for the season.

As for 1- 15 six points, utterly crazy!!! Just a shame we're not 15th, six points off top!!!!

Our season so far has been defined by the tightest of margins in games, one more chance taken or one fewer mistake. Just before the first Brum goal we were inches away from scoring a wonder free kick for 3-0

    Very very true that Yorkie.

We just need to make sure the margins are on our side vs Boro Tuesday onwards.

Still, 11 games winless, jesus wept.

2 wins in 22 games under Hurst / Mick / Klug.

    Absolutely dire.

Still a lot of hoof from the back, lack of creativity in the middle and not enough support up front.
Edwards lacks end product, Ward lacks everything and Jackson needs help, he makes good runs but would benefit if he had a partner.
Donacien will add more attack from RB than Penn who I feel Hurst is fitting into the side because he played so well at CB but Hurst won't leave Nsiala out, who by the way was the best defender today. I'd happily see Chambers dropped for Penn because Luke and Jonas down the left side does nothing for us in a positive sense.

I don't see the need for Chalobah and Skuse more than I see the need for two up top. Gerken made some good saves and some bad kicks. Could maybe have caught the ball instead of the weak punch that led to the scrambled goal.

The free kick against Jonas was bullshit, I haven't seen it again but my first reaction was that Knudsen didn't know an attacker was coming in. He swung his boot for a clearance and the Brum player stuck his head in. Refs give these calls too easily but I don't fault Jonas for doing what any defender should.
