We don't seem to have much intelligence in our play. We just seem to get outsmarted too often, even in the little play-by-plays. McClaren keeps thinking that our midfield is the best in the league and can easily outwork any other. He's mistaken. We need an extra midfielder. Hemed not looking good, take him off, bring on a proper winger and get Eze in the middle.
Glad we rested so many players in midweek, or else we couldn't have come up with a performance like this. McClaren you brainiac, to clever for his own good.
We were very good before they scored out of the blue. Since then we have been about as sharp as your average Scum supporter. Hemed and Wells seem to have just been introduced to each other in the tunnel.
Our counter attacks are quickly facing a massed well organised defence, so we are forced back. This results that we are forced to take long shots at goal.
