But Roberts is third choice? We’re a championship club with average funds, can we really expect a top quality striker to be sitting in the reserves just in case number one and two choices get injured? Roberts is an excellent third choice as he is young and will improve and although he isn’t a Roofe or Bamford he is still a half decent player.

This. I have to say considering how useless alioski, Harrison and Roberts were, the other 8 did a great job of playing Wednesday off the park. Maybe, just maybe, it being a team game and all that, they contributed in a manner too subtle for some. football is about goals and the end product wasn’t there...so it’s a reasonable point to highlight BUT it’s also a numbers game, which evens out the luck over a period of time. We had zero luck yesterday. On another day we’d have had a sackful. Play like that, we will go up. Even with all these passengers!
Don't know, he missed a few that he really should have scored, hope he becomes a more consistent finisher because I like the way he plays.
