This is one of my biggest pluses for Bielsa and something I have always wanted, play to your best abaility and let the other team make changes and worry about your style, if you play it well enough with enough quality in your team you'll win. Best player for best position and no chopping and changing with players not knowing from one week to the next whether they'll be starting in midfield, right side, left side or attack
We're not doing too badly sitting at the top of the table with key players out injured, lets see how other clubs perform when they have their best players missing.
I agree with this. All the player ratings for last night were high except for these three players. I like Alioski but he is still a bit inconsistent. However, not sure about Roberts and Harrison to be honest. With both Bamford and Roofe out plus others we are missing golden opportunities to keep the pace up and last night was a perfect example of this. By all accounts we should have buried them and we cannot afford these type of slip ups when we are creating so many chances. If we want to go up we have to win these games.
OLOF this is true and there is a long way to go but like any committed fan it's hard to see us chuck away 2 points. No doubt we will drop to second today but that might not be a bad thing in a way.
So we don't play with a big slow camel up front, neither do Barcelona,Real Madrid,Bayern Munich,Liverpool and Man City.
How the hell did we not win that game ? We played scintillating football for much of the 90 minutes, we stuffed the Owls in every aspect of the game apart from the scoreline. I can't recall a game in many years where we have been totally dominant & not come away with a victory, tbh we rarely consistently dominated games since our relegation from the premiership Positives Our style of full-on attacking football. Total dominance of the game Outplay the opposition without a three of our best players. Our passing was back on song. Showed character after the defeat v Birmingham. Klich's equaliser. In Klich we have a goal-scoring central midfielder. Phillips showed why he should be in the starting XI, credit to lad as his head could have gone down after being hauled off twice in the first half-hour of games. Roberts looking more confident, never had a opportunity on goal though. Negatives Wednesday score with a worldie that dipped wickedly Not clinical enough in front of goal, will change once Roofe & Hernandez return. Far too many poor crosses 8 Peacock-Farrell 7 Ayling 7 Cooper 8 Phillips 8 Jansson 7 Douglas 9 Klich 6 Alioski 6 Harrison 8 Saiz 7 Roberts
No but orta has that job one name keeps popping up a big lad who is mobile....african continent i think but cant remember his name.....anyone ?. Anyway thats the type of player we needs.
