You were a billionnaire and negotiated a deal to buy Newcastle United - you paid off all the debts and were ready to plan what you wanted to do. Just say it was the end of this season after we finished mid table.

    Would you sack Alan Pardew?

How much money would you give Pardew/new manager to spend?

What targets would you set the manager for the new season?

Add anything else that you would do - I know its a fairytale situation ;)

I would use my remaining billions to buy Sunderland and run them into the ground. :D Come on, we've all done it on Football Manager haven't we?

Pardew sacked - Id tell Mourinho that Bobby Robson wanted him to manage Newcastle and id probably allow a transfer budget of £1 billion, then I would simply sit back and enjoy the ride.

    I would not sack him

500 million so he could buy the spanish national squad and get rid of all the current players (except for shola, of course)

    Targets: win the league :)

Sack Pardew. Employ myself. Buy talented young players. Win the league. Win the Champions League. Get hailed as the greatest manager ever. Carlsberg don't do Arfa Tiote's dreams but if they did..........

    What I would do:

Sack Alan Pardew - get my own manager in and back them. Would thank Pardew blady bla etc etc.

Would give Graham Carr a more important role with the club - Director of Football possibly. But, would still make sure he can go and scout the players :)

Would give them 100million to spend. But, make sure its spent correctly and not on random ****e

My list of candidates for the job would be Carlo Ancelotti, Guus Hiddink and possibly Arsene Wenger (depending how he is getting on at Arsenal)

After much debate I would appoint Carlo Ancelotti and tell him I expect a European place this season - don't want to be too over expectant

    1. Probably get my own manager in.
    2. Set a wage cap of 80k a player.
    3. Sell all dead wood. (Lovenkrands, Perch, Ranger, Smith)
    4. Make that money available for transfers.
    5. Ask manager who he wants to sell.
    6. Sell any players he wants and make that money available.

So basically I wouldnt have to pay any more money but still allow transfers to happen.

A bit like Ashley with better PR, no Sports direct advertising and all the money available for transfers.

I would promote youth in the way we are doing now, but I would make sure gaps in the first team are plugged (i.e. striker, CB, LB)

realistically, keep the club in the green, sack DL, bring some Geordie guy to be in his position (a guy with good knowledge of business and the club and fans).
Bought a CB, 2 strikers, a LB cover, a RM and sell dead wood.

I'd keep Pardew for stability. I would give him how ever much money he needs to buy young but established players and have a wage cap so the club can still be self sufficient (excluding transfer fees). My initial target would be top 10 and I would want European football within three years.

Initially I'd invest about 60m into the first team I'd employ someone like Bob moncur to liaise with fans and the club, reinstate the singing section and name a stand after Sir Bobby.
I'd keep the wage cap(up it a bit) and pardew (for now)
The main thing I'd do is plough a **** load of money into the youth set up employing the best coaching staff around and signing the best youth available making sure that the manager brought youth through thus showing any potential young uns we wanted to sign they would be given their chance.I'd then make the manager play a passing style of football and incorporate this throughout the reserves/academy making the transition from one to another seamless.
