Why is it a no browner to sell SA? I don’t know about the finances, but 600m won’t last forever. Doesn’t the FA have a big debt too?

From what I have read the FA can still use Wembley for internationals/finals/play offs so they will still use it just the same as now, but get £600m for it as well.

    Use it for free?

    My questions are:

What are the current mortgage costs?
What are the current running costs?
What are the current revenues generated from all events?

What happens when the £600m runs out? I bet that isn’t long.

I’ve just checked and there are, as I expected, pre-determined fees for he FA to use Wembley... no mention of what they are.

Khan wants his US Football team to play there, but I bet he also sees financial gain here and the FA are somehow ****ing up.

In January this year, the FA had £142m left to pay off the loan for the rebuild and planned that to be completed by 2024 (just 6 years). They did this by refinancing the remainder of the loan at better interest rates so they could put more money into grass roots and double the prize money for the FA Cup ( I bet there’s more of that to come!).

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/fa-will-finally-finish-paying-off-757m-cost-of-new-wembley-in-2024-a3735661.html?amp

There are some numbers in this article that aren’t clear, suggesting commitments to spending £180m/ year on the game, up from £123m, but no mention of total incomes and outgoings.

I just have a feeling that a few years down the line, the FA will be skint again and the money being generated will end up in private pockets.

No business man is buying Wembley stadium for anything more than to make shedloads of money. As the Olympic stadium has shown there is no way to make shedloads of money so is working some angle that will end with Wembley becoming 'uneconomic' blah blah blah. He ends up making 2 billion some other way. No more wembley stadium.

I didn’t realise Fraser had gone out on loan.

That kind of keeping just confirms he isn’t good enough st getting down for those low shots.

FA have announced they will make a bid for the 2030 World Cup....I presume they feel the corruption has been cleared up or we'll get it to shut us up. I will be 80 in 2030 (I hope...gulp).
