Larsen was also impressive during the period when Hernandez and Wilson were giving us the flair, no coincidence. As much as I doubt Grosickis temperament and motivation, I think Adkins needs to bite the bullet and get him in the team despite his shortcomings. He's the only quality flair player we have now. Put Henriksen/Stewart to good use covering his runs when he doesn't track back.
As someone said earlier (on another thread?) it's like watching the documentary on the family that own/run poundland or poundstretcher or whateevr they call themselves. One of the sons was responsible for expenditure and he scrutinised every penny spent without taking into account the bigger picture. They were ****ers too
I've met Polly. Good bloke and although I am diametrically opposite to him in political opinions and his taste in music, or rather lack of it, got on well with him. Good bloke to have on your side as well.
Any manager will want to bring in players that they want, which won't be easy with the owners we have.
