Got a club comp tomorrow, happens to be a foursomes. It's an annual board comp and my 'partner', who asked me to book our early slot, pulled out this afternoon. ****ing seething. You can't play foursome unless you're a pair. About to bale my slot and join some random, which is always awkward when you don't know if they're any good. Or they you I guess!

Watching the highlights now. Ryder cup is right up there with the best sporting events on the planet. Would rather watch this than the WC. I’d say on a par with the ashes.

Balls in my court now, there's a spare slot in the group behind. So, the other pair in our slot (also mates) either just play as a three in a friendly knock or I'll join the group behind and it's they who are ****ed. Harsh on them but I don't see why I don't get a round, it was me who interrupted my Sunday dinner last week to book the slot in the first place! Will see if anyone joins me overnight.
Second day starting in 20mins. Interesting pairings this morning, but I expect he’s resting Stenson and Rose for the afternoon. Would have probably kept the Garcia Noren partnership going too.
