There is something called innocent until proven guilty. These things belong in a court of law not a Senate hearing about appointing a judge. Me too campaign if it does anything I hope it teaches women of any age to report assaults and have them tried and not suffer years of torment.
Usually there's also a responsible political party who would vet candidates for important positions rather than force the issue because there just aren't enough white men with power we desperately needed this one too regardless of massive allegations

Hopefully but as can be seen... the treatment dished out over last 2 week's sadly confirms why they don't. Despite that it's Strange that the only person that called for a law enforcement investigation was..... Ford. Kavannagh and the GOP Senators have refused that, refused calling the other witnesses named despite the other person being in the room and his old mate...maybe the fact the mate has admitted being the drunkard and wrote some of the stories down in his book even with the character "Bart Kavannagh" made them queasy at having him as a supporting witness in front of them or the FBI... If you were innocent, wouldn't you want the FBI in there...interviewing everyone concerned and the result after all this time likely to be no legal case to answer...? Then get on with the confirmation. The GOP actually tried to speed UP the process when they heard there was a 2nd accusation. Contrast this to Cosby. If the guy has assaulted her to and make a formal complaint to police and see if they arrest him even if it's 2 years hence. I don't really understand why this is in this format and why it's not gone to the police but how and ever. All that we are seeing right now is he said she said in the improper forum being judged on social media and that imo is getting to the point where the justice system becomes irrelevant and they might as well be on Jeremy Kyle. Especially in America, high school and college years... girls don't stand a chance unless they do what the nutters tell them. Stay indoors and church and you're safe. Go do what the guys do: get the education, have a beer and party? If you get raped you'll and report it? I agree totally... so why did the GOP and accused insist it play out in this forum?
