We send scouts to other clubs, who they welcome and admit for free, then we **** them over in return. It's ****ehousery at its finest.
It’s typical of a Vice Chair (or whatever he is) that spends too much time thinking about reducing the cost of paper lips instead of the overall strategy needed to substantially increase income I know from experience that hardly anything is delegated and amazingly low cost financial decisions have to be approved by Ehab.
Good point. It looks like Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea and all the other shoddily run clubs have been getting it wrong all these years and Boy Blunder and his old man are the only ones getting it right.
Maybe Ehab will move us to the E/ N corner and give Leeds fans the rest of the stadium, wouldn’t put it past him
I don't believe this story. Southampton have had a presence in this area for years and several so-called scouts. They used to sponsor Norwood Club who were a successful club in the Hull Sunday League, they even played in Southampton's colours. Everyone connected to that particular club used to claim to be a scout. If this story is true and he was an official Southampton club scout and not someone pretending to be one then he hasn't gone down the correct route to get a ticket. Sorry, but this is bollocks.
Like I said, he came across as genuine and didn’t appear to be a bull ****ter. Can you confirm that the Allams made the youth team pay for their tickets? I’ve heard they did but have no proof of this. If they did then I can certainly believe they’d make another club pay for tickets.
The Youth team used to get allocated match tickets and what they did with them could give you the answer if they still receive them today, as I honestly couldn't tell you if they do or not.
Carmine's is far from the first account of opposing scouts being made to pay. It's been discussed on here before. I thought it was pretty well established as fact by now. It's also far from the first time that Phil has loyally defended certain actions of the Allams, and I'm sure it won't be the last.
I've just asked the Bristol city scout for Scotland that I know well, if there guys have been charged to go to our games, sorry to disappoint everyone but they don't.
I just don't believe everything a stranger in a pub tells me that's all and because something is discussed on here it doesn't make it fact.
It's been known to be going on for a couple of years at least. It was one of the first weird Allam things. A lot defended it at the time when they were more popular, but I don't remember it even being questioned until now.
Not giving our youth players a ticket to first team games is up there with the most stupid things our dipshit Vice Chairman ever came up with (and it's a hell of a ****ing long list).
Carry on defend your heroes. Defend them all the way to Hull City's demise. Yeah now and again you'll have a little dig at them to try hide your obvious love of them. It doesn't wash on here. Sad. Very sad.
I've got no reason to lie about something so pointless, I just asked him a question and that was his reply. When he asked why I'd asked he laughed and said from what he'd heard it wouldn't surprise him if they did though
I will have a go when it's needed or warrented, but I won't lie or ignore facts. I asked a question and was given an answer. Simple as that
