Can't wait!!! Really excited about it!! The landlord is opening the pub up early for a few of us. So we'll be camped out in front of the tv for 3 days solid!! Think it'll be much closer than the press or bookies are saying. Which reminds me, havent put a bet on yet! Edit: just checked and the odds have closed on WH. Yeah, can't wait. One of, if not the, highlights of the sporting calendar for me. The Ryder cup kills the idea that golf isn't a sport, which is just bollocks as anyone who's ever played it (properly) will tell you. Think it'll be close with the Yanks edging it but Hurley has a point, those are very good odds for the tie. Might stick a tenner on that myself.
I'll keep an eye on it but not hugely excited. All I keep hearing is the Yanks have the flu? Also why isn't there an Asian team or an African team? It's all a bit 1st world and **** the rest imo.

Because they're ****e. You'll be asking to include women next ffs, this isn't the BBC you know. There is one between USA v Rest of World (Presidents Cup) and Europe v Asia (Royal Trophy) , there just isn't as much interest.
There is another cup that includes an Asian team / rest of the world. It’s just not as big or backed as the Ryder cup. Now back to your box.
