Why do teams do that from free kicks. Aim for the guy as far back as possible so that anything that isn’t a perfect header will either go out of play or drop to no one as everyone else is in the middle.

that was never a foul by keita and ref ignored two offsides on var by not looking at screen himself.

A disjointed team with a disjointed performance - despite all of that, we created numerous chances and still should have won.

Disappointing that we lost but not the end of the world.

 

Chelsea clearly wanted that more. First 30 They were better, then we dominated and should have scored a few. Chelsea brought on Hazard to go for it, we took off Milner and Mané (the only starters who will start on the weekend).

 

Emerson wasn’t offside though and the other two ‘weren’t interfering with play’. Right decision to give it.

It’s a stupid rule IMO - it should be black and white. If anyone is offside, then it should be flagged.
