Spurs' new stadium 'will be greatest ever built' says chief engineer https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45586929
Just been reading up on it and apparently the founder of the modern Olympics in 1915 was French - Pierre de Coubertin. He chose Lausanne in Switzerland as the IOC headquarters because of it's location on the shores of a lake, with a view of the Alps and far away from the turmoil of First World War. Since then, 23 federations and 20 international organisations have followed suit and set up their headquarters in Lausanne and Switzerland which as a whole is home to 47 international sports bodies. ''Piermarco Zen-Ruffinen, a specialist in sport law at Neuchâtel University, told swissinfo.ch that Switzerland is attractive for many reasons: its geographic location, highly qualified work force, political stability, neutrality, security, quality of life, plus an attractive tax regime and legal code. “The Swiss law on associations is extremely simple and hugely flexible. Furthermore, the slowness of the legislative process offers a lot of legal security,” he said.'' You just knew that money would come into it somehow
Jose Mourinho has have a fair share of good luck, he won the Europa cup during his first year at Manchester united. Would think his luck is running out.
How are they defining 'Greatest'. What is it 63,000? By new stadium standards that doesn't seem all that big.
Its just the typical symptom of a Mourinho management. Players get fed up being thrown under the bus, being criticised for mistakes (mistakes that stem from poor managerial tactics) and dire football, there is only so much they're willing to take till they revolt. Happened at Chelsea first time, players downed tools Happened at Real, players and fans helped push him out Happened at Chelsea second time, Players downed tools again Happening at Man U, players buckling under the pressure and openly criticising the manager Would have happened at Inter, but he ran away just before the going was about to get tough again in Italy His Man Management is frankly appalling and his tactics are outdated.
Just a bit of self promotion by the engineers bigging themselves up. Everyone's at it. According to the new CEO at Everton, once Everton office staff moved into the Liver Building at the end of August 2018 ''the city will well and truly be all ours''. You've got to laugh
As someone who doesn’t mind Jose I am starting to wonder. I think there is a chance that people are wising up to him or as you say his tactics are outdated But you cannot really knock his record imho Daft thing is the way things are he might be better with youth atm I do not see how anyone can side with pogba in this latest one He put on the captains armband and then slated - possibly too strong an adjective - his manager in public Personally I think the balance is all wrong In The game today. Just gonna let this one run cause I don’t think Jose is a terrible manager nor is pogba a bad player typical media hype Tbf we should be talking about how well derby and one of our loanees played
Its the most modern, for now. Thats probably why. 63 000 is alright, stadiums can be too big I think. Once we eventually expand Anfield Road end it will be similar size.
it's quite simply the fact that spurs employed Donald trump to build their stadium. it's delayed cos he's trying to get arsenal to pay for a wall or something but it is certainly the greatest.
