I'm in awe of a younger generation of lads who've been sent to war by old cowards in Whitehall, who have seen hell and come home physically and mentally damaged. At least 2 lads who served are on our forum. 1 still with us, the other sadly no longer. Both have my utmost respect. But I'm a selfish bastard. I don't want my own 3 lads to go through the same.

It was like a past life now. My mates are more patriotic than me. Maybe cos I ****ed off and experienced the rest off the world and didn't stay at home and stew on it. I barely give it much thought these days
... perhaps ... but it might be good to actually 'earn' benefits by doing something productive ... rather than drinking, smoking, playing computer games etc on my taxes ...
