Watched the first part of Killing Eve, thought it silly and boring. Mrs luv liked it so I'm giving it one more episode. Caught up with BCS very good as usual only 3 episodes left.
I'm half way through series 4 now and if anything she's getting worse. the idea that as 'First Lady' she can walk into any top meetings and take over, negotiate and threaten the Russian leader then get into the vice-presidency (cos that's where its going) without any political background is ****ing ridiculous. it smacks of 'Girl Power' SWJ bollox. liken the original British version they should have finished with the powerplay to get the Prime minister/Presidency and left it there.
The whole series has and always will be about the brilliant Spacey. Good luck to her trying to carry this last series (and produce it as well). She was being set up as the new president anyway, but you sensed that Spacey would be a malevolent, brooding figure in the wings. Great pity. Btw - Bodyguard. Spoiler - I completely missed the Nadia twist. Fabulous series: BBC at its best.
Watched a simple favour at the cinema. Blake Lively Fit Anne Kendrick - i quite like her, has giant baps. It's a chick flick though. It's entertaining enough with mystery but tries to be too clever. 6.5/10 Also watched Crazy Rich Asians. Pretty entertaining and funny. Again another chick flick at heart but really enjoyed it. 8/10
Finished Maniac on Netflix A quick look at the reviews and people are either rating it 1 or 2 or 9 or 10 the truth is about a 7/10 It's interesting and well done but it doesn't quite hit the heights. It's a one off and worth watching but nothing special.
