Personally I would rather make parenting lessons compulsory as many people are clearly not bringing up their children properly. Children are starting school having never held a pencil or crayon because instead of spending time colouring and drawing they are given phones as toddlers. Children are unable to use a knife or fork, have never been read a story to and do not know how to count. This is not just true in my school with the kids with mental health problems. In my last mainstream school I took in conkers and acorns to do maths and English with the kids. I wrote letters on them to spell words and numbers on to help with maths. Out of a class of 28 just 3 knew what they were. We have Oxleas Woods, Bostall Woods and 2 commons within a 20 minute walk and 5 minute walk from the school. Greenwich Park was only 1 bus ride away. Everyday parents dropped their kids off, screaming at them and collected them with a phone to their ear and did not even greet them. This was not just one or two but dozens of parents. Children would not take art work home cos their parents didn't bother to even look at it so I would stand with the kids and hand the work to the parent and tell them how beautiful it was and they'd just look at me blankly. This is repeated in many schools and has been like this for years...I remember some of the ****er parents when my eldest started school in 2002. Parents (mainly mums) screaming at or fighting with each other is not unusual in the playground. People buy their kids sausage rolls and fizzy drinks for breakfast so they come into school buzzing and then have a crash an hour or so later and their behaviour goes to ****. Kids learn at home that if they create enough noise or fuss that they will get their own way and try to do the same in school and create havoc when it doesn't work. When you walk through shopping areas people can often be seen swearing at their kids. Decent parenting will produce more rounded youngsters. Some problem are caused by ****ers but a lot are caused by people being unaware. These people want to change what is going on and with the help of compulsory parenting classes might manage for the better. That would solve more problems than compulsory national service imho.
Completely disagree, if anything the age should be changed to 18 and kids encouraged to do more with their education. You are not ready for that life at 16.
Does it ****! Its all posturing and bravado bullshit, and even if it did come to that, war is not fought the same way it used to be. Besides, they wouldn't stand a chance if they tried to bring back National Service, the libtard snowflakes would go into overdrive. Also, any government who tried to impose it would likely get lynched.....and I dont mean metaphorically.
Infighting amongst the populations of multiple countries at once. Yanks fighting yanks, brits fighting brits etc The sides wont be dictated by country but by a combination of socio economic status and political alignment.
The yanks might fight each other because they’ve got guns and religious zealots who would do it ‘in the name of god’ but the army would just shoot all of them on sight. The brits would never fight each other though, we’re far too polite for that. We’d just sigh and write a strongly worded letter to the Guardian/Daily Mail.
Its been said by so-called experts that the next world war would only last a couple of weeks before one side or t'other was left with the option of whether to go nuclear, the reason being that they'd run out of the expensive weapon systems, missiles etc, in about 3 weeks. They sure as hell don't seem to have run out of anything the last 20 years!!
