They are tapping into the free movement thing I guess France etc and the U.K. exchange massive amounts of people on a daily basis to work and live

Of course that effects me but there will always be a way. My Mrs sucks this stuff and panics a bit ... I tell her we will always have options. Extreme measures can be always be taken we could even apply for political asylum as our country has been taken over by clueless nationalists who are clinging to a very old dream that the U.K. is the best etc

We are very good at spending money we haven’t got as a nation no one does it better in Europe imo ... bung it on the mortgage

Then hope our properties in the U.K. continue to go up so we can retire on pensions that cannot ever be sustained

It’s the biggest con of all time

The Englishman’s home is his castle

I have zero faith that people are going to unite to change in that environment ever

I have just had friends over here who wouldn’t shut up because they now have a social housing project close to them. They claim to have worked hard for their 5 bed brookside type house and now it’s valuation is in doubt ... well in their own minds

Sell up I said as how else are you going to touch and use the money you believe you have ? ... if that is true life happiness then I question it

London is surrounded (100 miles) by people who think exactly the example I have given

RTE described Labour's Brexit stance as "Tactical Ambiguity".........sums it up nicely.

Exactly. BBC called it constructive ambiguity which is the old Kissinger phrase for a policy of sitting on the fence to please everybody and trying to avoid getting splinters up your ass!

Labour are as conflicted on Brexit as the Tories are. Starmer has said that Labour will vote down ANY deal that May comes back to Parliament with, making a no-deal WTO much more likely

I picked up on that as well. Labour will not commit to anything and think if they don't, people will blame the Tories and vote for them. It's a dangerous game to play but also reinforces the reason not to vote for a party that doesn't have a clue. Saying that the Tories are just as bad at present.

It also makes a General Election or a 'People's Vote' much more likely. Of course, if the Tories all support May, it won't matter what Labour do.

Labour are hoping that if May fails to get Chequers through, there will be a general election. If they win this, then Starmer will insist on a second referendum with Remain as an option. I agree with you, Ellers, it's a dangerous game they're playing.

Agree, Strolls. I was typing my last post before I read yours. I think a second referendum would only happen under a Labour government

Starmer has just said at the Labour conference "we want to campaign for a public vote and nobody is ruling out remain as an option". The camera's went around the room and only half got up and applauded. Many sat and didn't clap and looked very concerned.
Apparently Sky has just said he went off script with that line and it will anger some in Labour.

There's a big Labour Leave contingent. Corbyn could lose a lot of votes on this policy. He's a Brexiteer and Sir Kier Starmer is one of politico-legal elite Remainers. No wonder constructive ambiguity is their overriding policy on Brexit!

Same could be said waving the UJ
The Labour Party isn’t the Labour Party it’s still the remains of policies purchased by TB
They buy them from the same shop in Oxford ... it brainwashed most of the U.K. and the rest is history

Corbyn at least is Labour at heart

Did you not see the polling that suggested Labour could gain 1.5million votes by backing a new EU vote, Goldie?

If you believe that then you do need treatment

I am by the way a 100% Palestine supporter and I believe that’s all Corbyn is
I couldn’t vote Labour at the moment they are a mess

Is that the poll that was carried out by the campaign group called "People's Vote".

If I was Corbyn, I wouldn't trust its impartiality

Absolutely correct, also doesn't seem to be any concern over this, would suggest the condemnation is either prejudice or disingenuous

Farage created a poll the other day on which way people would vote if they had an option of leave or remain now, Farage's poll remember. Remain 60+%

I read somewhere that they would lose at least 19 seats
Wasn't the last vote the people's vote
Or was that the wrong people's vote
Is there any percentages been bandied about that the people voting have to win or lose by so there's not a clamour for a real people's vote
How about you can only vote if you voted in the last vote
How many of those old ****ers have died since the last vote
