I have been to Sunderland with only 1 coach there in Terry Neill's days when we were doing well and they brought loads down, taking over the pubs and chasing City all over. Hull is bigger than Norwich. Newcastle city population 304,000, Sunderland 277,000, Hull 260,000. Sunderland whilst getting relegated averaged more than big city Leeds. You can do owt with figures. Especially when you use your trick of quoting Hull's city population whilst counting the metropolitan area of other cities or in Norwich's case the whole of Norfolk.
I've stopped going during a period of great success. Unlike some who didn't go because they conveniently had other priorities when we were really crap in the bottom flight whilst some of us were rattling around in a deserted BP.
Got the football brain but not the legs now. Could stroll about directing others though for a few grand a week.
From same source (Wiki) Norfolk pop. 898,400 East Riding pop. 598, 700 (Narch pop. is 213 000, Hull is 257,000 = both included in above ) Narch area = 2,074 square miles , ER= 620 square miles Hope this helps.
Don't be so modest, OLM. You also win the titles for the most pompous, most condescending and inability to take criticism and admit you are wrong awards as well.
Oh I dunno, we wouldn't know **** all about Narch without Castro on here. I mean who knew it had 2 cathedrals. Its good as a starting point for getting drunk messing around on boats mind.
I didn't know it had 2 cathedrals. Someone else posted that bit of info. shows what an important place it was.
