Can you answer the question. Would your feelings be the same if it was a group of people protesting against say the Irish or Indian orchestra?
1. I seen a guy heckling and booing at an opera I attended, does he deserve to be arrested? 2. RE: Hamas... this particular 'war' is tit for tat, thus there are tit for tat arguments about who is right and who is wrong. Palestinian supporters believe one thing and Israeli supporters believe another thing, you of all people should know that Medro 3. No arrests were made so I'm assuming the protest was peaceful and without major incident other than a few boo's... the police know more about the law than you do so please stop being pedantic. 4. Last but not least, its not the orchestras fault that they are israeli but at the end of the day the Palestinian supporters seen this as an opportunity to have a peaceful protest against their perceived oppression of Palestine. Hardly racist now is it?
the problem in Palestine is caused by about 2 - 3% of the population, the whole point of Hamas firing rockets into Israel is so Israel attacks and they can say 'look how they treat us'. There will be no peace there until the Palestinians themselves stand up to Hamas and the 'freedom fighters' that do nothing but restrict freedom. As to the flag flying in NI, that is no myth, I've been around the whole of NI and found it strange, no doubt if one started flying Real Madrid flags the other would start flying Barcelona.
She's funny as ****. The other week she told my wife that I'd been talking to a "lady" while me and her were out (I hadn't). And when looking through a book about a tigers, she saw an Indian man, to which she said "Look daddy, a monkey! Ooh ooh aah aah". I suppose you had to be there.
Thanks for that lesson in middle east politics - they bring it on themselves - just like Neil Lennon? Get yourself over to palestine and see what goes on son. If Israel dont treat them that badly then whats there to fear in going?
They were singled out because of their nationality. Protesting at an orchestra. Maybe you would like to answer my question, would you have the same feelings if it was the Irish or Indian orchestra getting heckled by a bunch of protesters simply because if their nationality?
Stand up to Hamas who supply the people's schools, healthcare, orphanages and everything else the occupiers don't? Why would they do that? "I'm gonna stand up to that Hamas so I am - I'm fed up having my children educated and it would be much better if we had no hospitals". Why do people comment on the middle east when they know hee haw about it? Civil groups have had to step in to fill the void a state would normally fill in the occupied territories - that's why people support them
Aye, the weans/kids are superb sometimes. My daughter came out with a classic years ago. Me, the missus and my daughter were driving to the wifes maws house and there was a midget going into the boozer, without prompting, my daughter says "Aw- that wee boy is out all by himself" me and the wife burst out laughing and then my daughter said "are you laughing cos he's got a big head" I nearly crashed the car Still makes me laugh that one
My little girl's at the stage now where she answers back to everything, and it's hard to keep a straight face. Especially when it's the wife who's trying to tell her off. -"Mummy's going to get very cross with you" -"No mummy, I'm gonna get very cross with you!" -"And you can stop laughing too, you're just encouraging her!"
They were not singled out because of their nationality. Protests can take many forms Medro. Whether its protesting at an orchestra or at a trade union rally, it has the same desired affect - public awareness. Why cant you understand that? If an Irish Orchestra was heckled and booed I would not ask for; 1. People to be arrested. 2. People to be called racists. But I would feel saddened, why wouldnt I? Tell us your expected answer Medro and what you actually think because you seem to be fishing for something as usual
The only racist part in this whole debacle is the title of this article - assuming that all Israeli nationals or all members of an Israeli orchestra are Jewish... Tut, tut.
