    What temp was you cooking it on and was it at room temperature when you put it in?

    Was room temp yes. The oven was kept at between 100-150 ish. But as I said after about 4 hours was still raw inside as have a food probe.

    I live in Chilli Central mate. Check out Salvatore's place. I think, and don't quote me, that he produces 11 tons a week which means big lorries! Down a tiny country lane. The locals love him <laugh>

    One of the guys down the village pub is a bigwig in the business and supplies chillies and loads of other stuff to all of the major supermarkets and he occasionally brings down new varieties to the pub.

    Which I stay well away from <laugh>

    Looks a good website. I usually stick to that psycho juice stuff but might buy some actual chillis. I can't really be ****ed with cooking, usually just grill some chicken, bit of veg and some rice and thats it so hot sauce is the better option than real chillis.

    I have tried a carolina reaper before though, ridiculous heat.
