i think this is a brilliant idea it will not get bad press like all the protests people are going on about would do. We should get this thread sticky'd so more people will be able to see it great idea i definatly think if we can get a few footballers to RT it i think it could gain momentum look at the last petition barton people was signing it and they didnt even know what it was about

Not wanting to piss on your parade, but surely the fact Ashley owns SJP he can do as he sees fit to do with it?

Bit like saying I can't stick advertising on my car, as long as it doesn't breach advertising rules nowt you can do.

 

But the idea would be to protect traditional grounds from mass advertising, so yes he would own it but he would know he's not allowed to ruin the stadium. Effectively like when the National Trust protects buildings of heritage.
