My only consolation is that Cardiff are being, well Cardiff and I’m sure there are two other worse teams than us.
I think that’s the difference though. Maya is too much of a gentleman to throw a strop at being continually overlooked. He definitely deserves a start now, as Wesley just hasn’t shown anything this season.
At this stage I'd say Huddersfield and Cardiff look certainties to go down, with one from about 6 others of which we are definitely one. Still a long way to go though
He should take some responsibility for ****ty level of defending, if not the defensive tactics. The third goal was Liverpool being good. The first goals, there is no number of defenders or attackers that can compensate for players not being able to do their ii basic jobs. The talent we have back there is a definite problem, so the cards are stacked against us. But that doe not absolve Hughes of all responsibility. It’s not just this game. Our defense has been sketchy since he has been here.
Regret to say but with an error prone defender, this is going to look pretty embarrassing by 5pm tonight, hoping it would have no worse than 3 or 4 but it looks like a 7 unless something dramatic with our mindset changes and a personnel change too.
