Cheers Yorkie. Whilst on the subject of bridges, which is the busiest railway bridge in the World, in terms of numbers of trains passing over it per day ?
I would guess that it might be in Switzerland with all that uneven ground needing bridges, but I don't know.
Another clue - if Yorkie had travelled all of his recent holiday by train (ie. all the way from England) he would have certainly gone over it if using the fastest route.
Hohensollern in Cologne? t is the most heavily used railway bridge in Germany with more than 1,200 trains daily,[3] connecting the Köln Hauptbahnhof and Köln Messe/Deutz stations.
All yours Yorkie. It is the Hohenzollern bridge over the Rhine in Cologne. Actually in Wikipedia it says it is the most heavily used railway bridge in Germany - this is actually a Worldwide record (have actually researched this elsewhere). If you had taken the quickest rail journey to Budapest, it would have been via Brussels, Cologne, Munich, Vienna - hence the clue.
Good one... as soon as i googled the route and saw germany i knew it had to be..... Ok.... which Arthur has been cleared after his death this spring
Apparently Arthur has been cleared of having caused grievous bodily harm to a small girl. Elton has won libel damages against a newspaper which tried to attack Arthur's good name in this respect, but have conceded that the damage (wounds) were nothing like as serious as originally reported.
