An honest assessment of monks time with us id say https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sp...k.com&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebar
Worried about this game, the only unbeaten team v the only team without a win, should be a win but the law of averages thing is niggling me.
On the other hand it does start to play on the other teams mind, go behind and they start thinking another game we’re not going to win, go in front and they start to play hang on football.
good morning i'm up and getting readyfor my first game of the season.Davy's flight is cancelled but like a true fan he's managed to grab a seat on Manc flight to touch down about eleven.so he will train it in and now meet up at the Peacock.i am relieved as he has my ticket ..go Davy
Just want too see Birmingham in the bottom three tonight. Got nothing against Brum, just means we will have won. Safe trips and see some of you guys later
Good morning all Don't think it's going to be that easy to win this one, firstly Birmingham although not won this season have drawn six,so pretty tough to beat, also i know stats mean nothing but our home record against them is poor at best,Leeds have won only two of their last eight home matches against Birmingham in all competitions.Either it's gonna be a tight 1-0 win or we will romp it,but either way can only see a home win on this one (i am praying i am right) hope it's the latter.
Like others i’m Apprehensive over this one... from match reports they have been unlucky (or unable to take their chances) in a lot of games. On balance of play their position is false. We know how monk sets his team up away from home... hard to break down tough to beat. You have that nagging feeling that they are due a break... and Sod’s law it’s us. Hey, the championship brings different challenges each week, we’ll need patience to break them down and it’s the kind of game you wish you had Pablo for that little bit of guile. Naturally I hope my concerns are unfounded and we paste them!!
Safe trip to everyone that's going today, hope you all come back with glowing reports on how well the match went ,looking forward to the catch up later C'MON LEEDS
Hi LL Unfortunately work commitments (deliveries) on Saturday between 3-6pm,so miss the footy every week
I think we're all putting ourselves under unnecessary pressure, hence the all round nervousness & apprehension we're all feeling. We're all desperately hoping (although secretly expecting!) to win. Time to face facts, though. We won't win ever match. If we don't win this one, so what? Time to relax & enjoy the brilliant football we've been playing. It really is a joy to behold, and we should be focussing on enjoying the moment instead of building up promotion hopes. We may collapse like last season, although I doubt it, tbh, but the difference is that even if we do, we'll still be playing scintillating football, even if it's only in patches in a game (unlike last season where it was a patch in the season). Time to appreciate what we've got & relax & enjoy it. Here endeth the lesson.
