I don't even agree they've been twats this week - just unsurprisingly pissed off.

They set out their red lines back when the government wouldn't even offer a vague plan. Then they set out 5 options for the UK depending on what they wanted to give up.
They've stuck in agreement collectively to their red lines and the Chequers plan doesn't meet them. They were never going to sacrifice the rules of the single market for the UK.

The Tories meanwhile has managed to muster up 1 plan that they knew the EU would not approve. For the last two years May has not even been negotiating with the EU or with national interest at the heart of their approach it's just been a negotiation with what she can get past the internal fighting of the Tory party.

For her to turn round and say what are the EU alternatives is laughable, they offered 5 alternatives and they are not the ones leaving we are - the onus is on us.

And obviously the speech today has more to do with posturing and looking strong before the forthcoming party conference than actual national interest

Is it possible to make a mere 1.5% drop look more dramatic?

It's been down a lot lower than this under the tories.

Just read a meme there that ALL of the Labour governments borrowed £500bn between them over the last 33 years. This tory government alone has borrowed £680bn in the last 8 years. They should all be referees, as they clearly don't know what they're doing. :)

Btw, don't want to get involved - my point about the graph was a straightforward observation that stats or memes can be used to exaggerate a story that actually isn't there.

Tommy Robinson walks free from the Old Bailey till 23rd of October.

Apparently the Judge says he doesn't want to proceed and has adjourned the case till 23rd October.

With all the bumbling by the prosecutors etc, I wouldn't be surprised if the case is eventually quashed.

Tommy starts speaking around 20-30 mins.

Full details on adjournment from Ezra Levant.
