First impressions: Wigan look suspect at the back, a number of hulking players with not much skill Bristol C not a bad side going forward Based on first 10 minutes we would wipe floor with Wigan and also beat Bristol
Oh and the crowd are making an amazing amount of noise ........ given that there’s only 500 in the ground (judging by all the empty seats everywhere)
Wow I just looked at the table, and if either team win they will be in 3rd position (though having played 1 game more). Shows you how we have been Bielsa’d as I don’t think either could dent us.

Wigan 1-0 Bristol C Wigan go 3rd (played one more) Bristol played neat football but a lot of final balls went astray. They didn’t have our incisiveness (well, usually) in final third. Got pushed back a lot. We ought to beat them, based on this showing. Wigan started a bit shaky but improved. Big physical team, well organised. Look pretty good defensively. Didn’t defend set pieces well. No pretty stuff up front, try to do simple stuff well. Goal was simple cross from right and good header. We’ve had a bit of trouble with ‘direct’ teams like this but we ought to beat them all the same.
Thought for the day: lionel Messi comes from the same town as Marcelo Bielsa, Bielsa watched him as a kid. 2 geniuses from the same place must be unusual?
