It most certainly is. If this quote has come from the captain then if he and the team do not deliver next game then that is me done.
Cannot carry on as present otherwise we will end up as Blackpool did or playing Scarborough on their way up as done previously.
Really hope this does not happen but have not seen us competing so badly with a team 2 leagues below us one season ago.

What do you mean by “if he & the team don’t deliver next game then that is me done.”?

Probably like a lot of people on here, I saw City under Dolan and the aftermath.

Used to miss a couple of games or so a season tops.

I understand a myriad of reasons not to go (beyond the boycott) but never understand poor performance as a valid one, in terms of being a supporter anyway.

Yeah but continuous poor results with zero atmosphere or entertainment does make the sane amongst us question why the **** we continue to waste Saturday afternoons. I already spend Saturday AM and Sunday AM with my grass roots team. Throw City into the mix on Saturday afternoon and it’s enough to tip anyone over the edge!!!

This thread title should be applied to the Allams.

They’ve made their money back, they’ll end up making a profit on their investment and they’ll leave us completely ****ed.

    What a gift.

I fully agree that performance alone shouldn't stop you supporting your team and attending games. What finally tipped me over the edge and cancelling my membership was the fact that I couldn't give any more of my money to the Allam's, as it wasn't being used to strengthen the team.

What the Allam's fail to understand is that for someone like me that over the last 60 years of supporting City and only not gone to games when I was in Aberdeen or out of the country, was that I have spent a substantial percentage of my earning over the years on going to watch City, a dam sight more than the percentage of earnings either of the Allam's have put personally in the club.

It’s impossible to prove, however I’ve come to the conclusion that when Ehab made Steve Bruce’s position untenable - where we are now is where the Allams fully intended us to be.

They’d run the numbers, offset the profit from Allam Marine against the loss of Hull City Tigers, factored in interest repayments, player sales, parachute payments, admin costs - and they knew that if they invested minimally for the next 3 years they were guaranteed a massive profit at the end of their ownership.

Leaving little old Hull City potless and ****ed

The point I was trying to make was that the fact the Allam's have punished supporters where and whenever they could, but it was the supporters hard cash that kept the club running through bad time, so the likes of the Allam's can do what they are doing now. This point is totally lost on them, and why supporters stick with a club through thick and thin is that they have a stake in it, even if it is indirectly.

If this is a quote from Henriksen, then I hope he's referring to himself, he's hardly turned up so far

Sorry but thats bollocks. They intended for us to remain a PL club and either sell us for a fortune or else make a fortune. However their incompetence, arrogance, vindictiveness and stubborness did for them (and for us).

Don't know anything about the quote BUT Adkins making Henriksen captain is the biggest mistake of the season.

Elphick already looks more suited to the role

To be fair sometimes the extra responsibility might positively impact on a player. In this case it probably hasn’t

Elphick or Lichaj - Be happy with either. Henriksen hasn’t improved this season. He looks as bad as he ever has done in a City shirt. He probably only looks better to some as the quality of those around him has dropped to his level.

Based on the fact that the quality around him has dropped to his level, we are well and truly f**ked!

I agree that he's not suited to be captain, but at the time when he was given it there really weren't many other options, it isn't a team full of leaders is it?

Perhaps the mistake was making such a fanfare about giving him it, because it'd now be quite a big deal if it was taken away from him. Although I was pleased they made a big thing of it at the time.

I believe PLT, that it was the intention of Nige to have a team full of leaders. At the moment he looks like making a **** job of it , although I agree Lichaj or Elphick look a far better prospect.
