Yeah, but the RRP is never £44.99 for anything. Search the usual places like Shopto around release date - You should be able to get it for <£35 Or hope that the supermarkets do what they do sometimes and say 'Spend £40 and get this game for £20'
I wanted a parade lap before the race but don't think it's on which is odd considering that players have a harder job of keeping tyres and brakes warm. So now we have to start a race on cold tyres and brakes.
Yeah I wanted this too, it would've been interesting find out how difficult it is to spot your grid slot, also im hoping they have greater emphasis on tyres becuase F1210 was way too easy to keep the tyres up to perfect temperature. On a sperate note, the game will be £40 mostly everywhere as usual, im gonna trade F2010 and maybe GT5 for it, should knock a bit off the price
I hope it is easier to look after your tyres as well because on 2010 (with a controller) however you drive your tyres seem to wear at the same rate and with the Pirelli tyres tyre managment is much more important, so I hope they made it so how you drive has a bigger impact of tyre wear in 2011. Looking forwards to it anyway, 2010 was good so 2011 should be much better.
If its down to the amount of miles on your tyres again I will literally kill someone. Most of my friends are aggressive, im one of the only smooth ones, yet they got an advantage that their tyres go out at the same rate from some lazy coding.
Is it Ricciardo or Karthikeyan driving for HRT? And who is the renault driver? Kubica, Heidfeld or Senna?
We can have our hopes set high for a major patch but i doubt it will happen. But nothing has been said about it yet.
What I would like to happen on the F1 game is driver moves, Codemasters say they can't do it because of image rights but FIFA do it so it should be possible if they can get the right license. It is like the damage, they can't show massive damage, only stuff like wheels and front wings coming off, nothing else because of the license.
I hope the damage is sorted but I'm not sure about driver moves. It's bad enough having to cope with Vettel's finger on tv, I rather not have to see it on my Xbox as well.
If anyone has F1 2009, can you tell me if it's possible to shut my engineer up? So sick of hearing his voice, especially when all I do on that anymore is set fast laps and he is constantly telling me "You cut that corner" or "This lap is not valid". Really? You don't say!
I bought last years game for 40 quid in HMV in Newport, and they we're giving away hmv gift vouchers for free if you bough the game. So i bought the game, and got a couple of bags of haribos for free as well. Great day, shows i'm a fat git.
God help us. All I wanted from this game is sorting out the problem whereby those that use traction control and ABS can go faster than those that don't use it. I got my wish, but the last thing I want is a safety car and all that other stupid stuff that does not benefit the game in the slightest. What about having weird breakdowns that are totally not your fault? How about having your pit crew cock up and your wheel goes flying off? Or, even better, why doesn't Codemasters allow for the possibility that a race can be called off halfway through due to bad light?
People want to experience being a racing driver. Don't think it will be interesting going into a race for 10 laps with no excitement of a safety car being added because of a crash. Only wanted a parade lap because Codemasters said that tyre and brake temperature is more important this year.
