    The main Liverpool forum latched onto Bielsa as soon as we appointed him back in June

    Afternoon all, been keeping up to date on here with limited Internet connection over in Norfolk for the past week, looking forward to each game now hoping we can start to open up a gap at the top, never thought I’d be saying that this season.

    It’s a strange situation as I want to debate who should start and who should play where but I feel that is an insult to Bielsa, (if he played Blackman in midfield I think I’d trust him) I guess it is more “guess” the team now.

    I've been saying this for a long time and I've said it on here, most of the 'top' coaches can't do anything without spending hundreds of millions on players. Bielsa is old school, he can actually make players better, a proper coach, does exactly what it says on the tin, coach players.

    Bielsa Statement

    Talking to the media ahead of the 3pm kick-off, Bielsa elected to passionately talk about his squad and expressed his joy on the resources he gets to work with on a daily basis. Bielsa said: "We have 15 players and a group of young players, but I wouldn’t change any of the players I have and not many people can say that. We have five or six young players with good possibilities, so this club has a good football health and all of the players are pretty young," added Bielsa.
