https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fawaz_Al-Hasawi He sounds like a nice bloke. Should pass the EFL Fit and Proper person test no trouble.
He owned Nottingham Forest for about six years, but they were not relegated once during that time. This guy is growing on me already
Creepy, just like in The Omen Never mind Al Fazawi. If Lieven De Turck is impaled by a giant green arrow between now and the weekend, we could be witnessing the End of Days....
Did anyone else watch a programme a while back about the “Croydon Cat Killer” ? People unlucky to live in places like New Addington were finding their moggies horribly mutilated. This programme followed a detective traipsing around parks looking for clues & interviewing tearful owners. The Met had 15 officers assigned to case at one stage. I remember thinking at the time... What a fvcking waste of police resources Today the Met has announced that the investigation- costing hundreds of thousands of pounds - has been closed. They think they have identified the cat mutilator .... Foxes
Is that correct about foxes? I was told by the cat rescue service that he always left a signature. My little cat chased a fox out of the garden recently.
I might be wrong but I thought I had read that some of the cats had been left unassembled in plastic bags on their owner's doorsteps or in their back gardens. I know foxes are cunning blighters, but do they normally bag up their kills? However, it's possible I was reading about another cat killer (not the Croydon one).
That's odd, because the police told a cat rescue centre that the offender left a signature which they wouldn't reveal in case of copycat killing (no pun intended). I'm also pretty certain that foxes tend to leave cats alone, so I'm a bit sceptical about the alleged reason for closing down the investigation.
Foxes don't attack cats or dogs unless they have a very good reason … and as much as I can understand how living in Croydon can upset people I don't think that would apply to foxes
Had the cats lived in Bromley or Orpington I would have been more sympathetic. A grisly death probably came as a blessed relief.
