Not content with bringing down the twin towers, putting sharks into Egyptian waters or releasing giant rats into Palestine territory they now have the gaul to send an orchestra to the BBC Proms. How bloody dare they! The Palestine Solidarity Campaign last night disrupted their performance with singing, shouting and booing after earlier calling for a boycott as they said the IPO showed "complicity in whitewashing Israel's persistent violations of international law and human rights". Are they trying to say that the likes of Hamas don't violate human right laws? No arrests were made which I find odd. Would this be the same if people turned up at another concert or show and heckled because the performers were Polish, Irish or say Indian?
I would reply to this post - but I suspect that I would only be heckled (again) and I wouldn't want anyone to get arrested on my account.

As an avid BBC Radio 3 listener I was disappointed as Brooks' 1st violin concerto is a magnificent piece of music. ****ing ill educated scum disrupting it made me cry. Hope they get shot.

I'm a Rachmaninov person ! I was pleased to see that his 2nd piano concerto ( 2nd movement ) went back to No. 1 in the Classic FM chart this Easter. I also like the William Tell overture - the dynamic ending perfectly compliments the slow build up.
Nothing beats Bach's Goldberg Variations, especially P1 as played by Glenn Gould (although his humming can be distracting!)
My favourite classical composition is Wagners Ride of the Valkyrie. Best played while watching old filming of German tanks advance across Poland.
