We don't have anyone better so we just have to hope he comes good again. To be fair, Burnsy asked about Stewart's inclusion and Adkins' response was telling; he just talked about how good Dan Batty is and ignored Stewart.

    Thanks for this Mr Hatem.
Very real problems here. The centre midfield display here is just shockingly lightweight. The sight of four players not been able to put a tackle in is very worrying. The shape is just dreadful and needs work. Dicko just can’t pick the right option to pass or shoot and looks a waste of a shirt. Get Martin in with Campbell and give them a go. Bad display only illuminated by Bowen’s finish.

Just watched highlights. It should've been a penalty after Campbell's shot! Dicko had 4 clean chances to score. And no goals, how. He looks so strong, but his shots are so weak.
Highlights weren't looking hopeless though. Keep working.

I have to say that I couldn’t find a single good thing to say about the midfield performance in the highlights. The goals were shocking. I appreciate its only the highlights but were they better than that over the 90 ? I can’t see how Dicko gets on, his finishing and decision making being so poor. We seemed second best to every loose ball.

I watched for 30 minutes in the first half when they scored their 2 goals absolutely horrendous. Batty is twice the player of both of these jokers in our midfield just shows how far we have fallen.

    Just like your missus.

Constantly monitoring what your getting up to...in the background...without your knowledge.

Building a dossier to use when the day comes.

I'm on that picture. There seemed a lot more than that. Dicko looked like he hadn't realised he wasn't the lone striker any more. We were much better when Campbell partnered Martin. I thought Martin looked overweight but he grew into the game and gave me hope that he might produce something in the future. I was always worried when he played against us.. Their centre backs looked poor but their full backs were good. Grigg had the beating of both of centre backs every time in the air and on the floor. Powell glided round and was really good. We were second rate. Wigan were excellent at time wasting, for which they went unpunished. However, I don't think it would have mattered much if we'd played ten minutes additional time.

Really worrying was our inability to deal with crosses or to stop them coming in.

    Painful to watch that.
Dickos two shots in the first half... pathetic. One he shoulda passed to Martin. But both just weak as piss.
Morsy walked through the middle for their goal.

Irvine has to play cm for me. He's the only one who really gets stuck in.

I had summat on last night so missed most of the game.
The lad and a few of his mates went in National to watch the game.
Went and told they're showing Liverpool. Two ****s in Liverpool shirts and no ****er else watching.
Refused to put City on. The landlords a **** anyway but that's the final. ****ing straw.

They went in Avenue and I joined them at the end. At least they showed us.
Hardly anyone in the lounge watching City. But the cheers from the bar when Liverpool scored at the death was a sad thing to hear.

Ye I was in some boozer, think it was that Indian restaurant near the ground and some ****s were clapping and cheering watching Liverpool.
Strange though as it's usually the ones bedecked in city gear.

Rather tellingly juat watching sky sports news .. reporter on sheff utd game saying Norwood centre of the park controlling things like a quarter back .. how very telling is that when we are crying out for such.. when the lad made it clear he wanted to come here .. when Adkins made him his top priority to daft lad and he was at an affordable price .. yet the ****wit in charge pretends to make offers no where near the asking price in an attempt to appease Adkins. It really is a disgrace.

When the Christmas Fairy has been and gone and January comes let’s hope the ****ing penny has dropped. It’s likely to be the last chance saloon by then. The chance to get players in seems a long way away.
