Now that the transfer window has been and gone, and Olly is still here is anyone else hoping that Olly will get back into the team?

In my opinion he is twice the player that McKenna will ever be at this level, is defensively sound, can create chances and is an aerial threat from corners which we sorely miss.

ollifinjana is surpluss to our playing budget. His wages are being underwritten by the Allams. In effect he is already not a hull city player. maybe now that the scruffy smack rat has moved on, ghillas is strutting hir stuff seemingly successfully and kilbane has been edged to the fringes, I think olli could soon rival the smack rat as the most used thread title on this board

We need to stop thinking about these types of players, he's not a NP player, and he's not gonna get a look in. He will be moved on once we find a taker.

Stick with the team we have now

Until loaned out Olofinjana remains a City player. If he impresses NP with attitude, fitness and form he will get in the team.

personalyl i think that Olly will get a chance and i hoep he does. He can be a great player and when Stewart returns i would liek to see a pairing of Koren and Olly in the centre

here here. i could not agree more with your post. i really hope that NP at least give him a chance. Oli can be that missing link in midfield. in fact he is the missing link in midfield and when stewart is back that will be even more evident.

which bit is utter rubbish, and on a scale of 1 - 10 (where 10 is true and 1 is absolute blox), where you place each of the bits on the scale?
ollifinjana is surpluss to our playing budget. -
his wages are being underwritten by the Allams -
in effect he is already not a hull city player -
olli could soon rival the smack rat (allegedly) as the most used thread title on this board -

    as an addendum:
for the next home game TIGERGURL will continue to accept free hospitality from her employers, Hull Telephone Dept. -

"in effect he is already not a hull city player -"

What? He's our player end of. The Allams are paying his wages just like the rest of the team, regardless as to what they may or may not have in mind - FACT

I like Oli, I hope he gets a shout because he could definitely do a job for us, though he strikes me as the type who needs to have high confidence and as fans we're often pathetic at instilling an air of confidence in our own lads... Slightly controversial viewpoint but so many are so quick to jump on players here and if Oli came back in and hit the ground with any less pace than a rocket he'd quite possibly tumble like a house of cards.

Not to mention he chipped in with 6 goals (in 39 appearances) for Cardiff which we could do with, he has much needed height that our squad lacks (he's ****ing massive). He might be hit and miss but IMO he would do a good job for us.
