So will Liverpool go one step further this year? Or will they bottle it. Is it finally City's year? How do we expect Jose to get on, will he embarrass himself and Utd? Will Spurs go all Spursy? Lots of ifs and buts. *********Tonight********* Spurs get us underway against Inter Milan at 17:55 - what **** time?! Then PSG come to Anfield for a 20:00 KO. Good luck to everyone, especially Chelsea and Arsenal fans.
It's an hour later local time, so it's not that bad, but it's part of the new Champions League scheduling. It lets them televise more games, so that Spurs and Liverpool don't clash tonight, for example. It'll probably end up shafting some sides further down the road, though. They don't care about match attending fans, obviously.
So the morning after, watched both games. Spurs... ffs what a letdown, Poch made some huge errors imo. Leaving 2 of your best players behind was never a good idea. Then bringing Winks on ffs, sorry but what does this kid actually do? He doesn't seem to know his role. Taking Lemela off for him was stupid as Lemela looked good. Then Poch decides to replace Kane with Rose...Barca smashed PSV so at least Spurs aren't bottom. Liverpool, easily beating the joint favourites to win the CL. Totally controlled the game, fairly easy win. Napoli and Red Star Belgrade drew 0-0 So perfect night. Tonight it's the Manchester clubs in action. I expect them both to win comfortably tbh.
Yeah apparently. Heard the commentary team discuss it last night. I thought it was a bit bizarre. Joint with City they said. They won't be favourites now
Should add a daddies of the champions league update to this thread @Skylarker Or maybe @Hoddle Is A God could do it?
@Matth_2014 I think Sky is wumming you. I can't see beyond a Young Boys' win. Would it upset you to watch young boys running rampant, Matth? Or would it excite you ?
