    Yeah fair play to him I suppose... not sure the tea/coffee would have been worth the burns mind but each to their own.

    Actually was there even enough water left for a drink? <laugh>

    I'd say it's unusual for a place such as that to stay open though.

    I'll stick the kettle on and jump in the car <cheers>

    Not sure how I can hold it and drive though, if I wrap it in tin foil then my 4 year old will be alright carrying it in his car seat won't he?

    I think you need to make an HSE Incident Report on this. If the Company didn't equip you with the correct PPE for carrying a kettle full of boiling water in a car you may be able to make a personal injury claim.
