They had two chances and took them. One of them was a goal of the season candidate. Yes, they were dead and we didn’t bury them. That and a few stupid substitutions and we let me back into it. If they play like that in the retutn, we’ll stuff them.
I think the dna of both spurs and Liverpool is apparent here... We do You try please log in to view this image
Think Sterling is quicker than Sane personally (but its close but maybe sterling makes more direct runs in behind?) but Sane is by far the better dribbler and can dribble at a higher speed with the ball stuck to him and has amazing body swerving abilities. Pedro is great at making runs in behind off the ball and playing 1 touch football but his shooting is as you say hit and miss and he needs someone to see his runs and play the ball too (plus his basic passing is ropey as ****, surprising as a consistent barca starter) whereas hazard can produce moments of magic and you can pass the ball to him anywhere on the field. Pedro can only produce these moments of magic when he's near the goal, anywhere else and he has to pass it off as he can't take someone on
Like you ‘did’ over the last few seasons, you mean The only reason your ‘doing’ at the moment, before the wheels inevitably come off, is because you spent £150 mill or so in summer.
We've needed to do that for many years tbh, just glad we have a man like Klopp who took his time improving what he could and then adding the final pieces to his jigsaw recently. We were exactly in your position before the summer window, a very good team that needed a few quality additions to take them to the next stage. Chuck the spending talk about all you like but facts are you'll need to do exactly the same to continue dining at the big table and you know it. Besides we sold Ford for £150m
You bought well for a change. You look far more solid. Your midfield last year was non existent. Of course we need to spend, but we have Levy!...
Not for a change tbh We've actually done some fantastic transfer business since the days of Rodgers and his commitee, even more so since Klopps arrival. And the other transfer guy came in I forget his name. Spurs deffo needed those 1/2/3 players to add to the squad this summer, it was obvious to you lot, us lot and poch asking the club to be brave would suggest it was obvious to him too. Levy out yet?
When the spuds finally stop kissing Levy's arse and realise that he is the problem that holds them back, there's going to be a few on here who will have to eat some humble pie and admit that Piskie was right all along
Over the 90 mins we were far better. You are literally the only person I've met that thinks otherwise. Just done the school run as I'm off today and my Man Utd mate even said we were far better and the score flattered them. It's Spurs going all Spursy that's altering your view mate.
