Tough away match at West Brom tonight, though they've been a bit inconsistent so maybe as good a time to play them as ever. If we can win, we really will be cooking and making a statement. Lots of arrogant sorts on their forum saying they hope we try to play football as they'll beat us easily if we do. They certainly have dangerous players, particularly Dwight Gayle, who we will do well to keep out & I think if I were offered a draw now I'd take it. Will be interesting to see how we lineup - I think we'll likely go back to 4-4-2: Maenpaa Kelly Kalas Webster Hunt Eliasson Pack Brownhill Watkins Weimann Diedhiou Not to say I necessarily feel that's the best lineup - Diedhiou needs to justify getting his place back from Taylor & O'Dowda deserves starts, though in place of whom is the question.

Weird match - seems like one of those when everything seemed to go right for them, rather than us simply being steam-rollered. Turns out I was wrong before - only need to wait til Friday!
Watched it on Sky, thought we looked good especially first 15mins could have been a few up, but then once they got the pen it seemed to knock us....Fair play, didn't give up, need to tighten up on defense and stop making silly mistakes........I did see lots of positives but think we are still learning to gel...Friday will be interesting to see if we turn it around. NB..23 shots 8 on target....can't say we're not trying!!
Conceding 4 is always bad, but overall performance doesn't warrant an overhaul. Would still have been very happy if offered this position at this stage at the start of the season & hopefully we can get back on the horse against Wigan.
Well my take on last night, started well first 15 minutes we ran the show, the mistake for the penalty changed the whole feel of the game.Once they scored it was one way traffic for the majority of the game. The last 15 minutes we had them wobbling, their fans could sense it.i have to say when we are not dictating the play our midfield struggles to get a grip of the game.Kelly looked out of sorts last night was not at the races,Hunt had a poor game. The strange thing was WBA took there chances when the opportunity was there,us we did not.We played some good football and passing,I personally thought the score was harsh but that is football. We need three points Friday night to keep pace with the pack.Unhappy with the result but we still look a decent side. Definitely seems one of those matches where the result alone doesn't tell the whole story - West Brom took their chances like a Premiership side would, whereas on another day we may have gotten off the hook a bit and two away goals would be enough for a point. There's stuff to analyse and work to do in training, so if nothing else let's hope this is used as a learning experience.
I would be quite happy if every 8 games 2 of those were losses! and 2 a win = and the last 6 were wdlldw = 66 points and safety …… !
