I agree and disagree, he's done very well to a point and Spurs are a team capable of getting into the CL but the lack of signings means that they are not looking to improve and that the club are happy where they are. They didn't have to go nuts in the Summer but buying 1 or 2 players to strengthen was essential and the are players out there who could have improved their squad without costing the earth.
Giving Poch assurances that he would 'be bold' and then shafting him was a dumb move. But it's not the first time he's broken promises he's made. His 'hardball' tactics in the market have worked to a point, but they ended up with Spurs getting no business done at all this summer. I think there are reasons for that, i.e the stadium and servicing big contracts for Kane etc. But he should have been straight with Poch. Personally I think he panicked because he thought Poch might leave for Madrid and other players might have followed him out of the door, so he made promises that he can't keep. I think he's been found out personally.
Coming to Anfield for these big European nights must be a nightmare for other teams. Robbo and Trent had Neymar and Mbappe in their pockets, great night from those 2.
Pooch rattled Beginning to sound more and more like Mourinho each day https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45567108
Considering their attack couldn't be arsed to run you still learning them score 2 at fortress a field. Good win though
Too early to be rattled about anything this early. So they're not going to win the league. They weren't anyway
I didn't watch it I was out for dinner, currently suffering in Spain as it happens. ****ing Mosquitos.
They had **** all firepower all night. 1st goal clearly offside. 2nd was a brainfart from Salah. We dominated them in all areas. Happy Days
Seriously??? They were virtually non-existent all game. Mbappe scored yeah... did **** all else though.
Those two looked dangerous every time they broke. M’bappe Especially. He’ll cause you problems in the return.
He did. Salah ****ed up and Mbappe scored. Other then that Robertson and Trent kept them quiet. That's the reason Tuchel moved Mbappe to the striker role, he was getting nothing out of Robertson.
