Was busy yesterday so i'll post an extra song each day this week. 1985 saw me leave Dimplex and get back into woodworking by taking a 6 month Skill Centre course in woodmachining and afterward starting at Brazier and Sons in Millbrook as a Joinery shop Woodmachinist. In the news there was the first Live Aid concerts at Wembley Stadium and in Philadelphia, the Heysel Stadium disaster and the Bradford City fire. Saints qualified for Europe but were banned by UEFA along with other English clubs from the competition because of Heysel. Here is the music I was listening to and collecting... This is from the landmark debut album, Psychocandy from The Jesus and Mary Chain which combined guitar feedback with 60s Pop structures and melodies...
